The farm was very interesting. The young lady in costume that was our guide there was very knowledgeable about Viking life. We found the visit to Viking planet to be very informative. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to take pictures with a green screen that turned us into Vikings. Would recommend this if you want to understand the Viking history and lifestyle.”

We booked the sleigh ride with tapas meal as a private excursion from our February 2023 Northern Lights cruise rather than the ship offered excursion, and we are so glad we did!!!! We expected a short sleigh ride and some nibbles. What we received was the warm hospitality of the owners themselves, a family on a true working farm, a beautiful sleigh ride through white snow with warm blankets, and a meal that words could do not justice.
