Didn't feel like the guide helped for all guests on the boat to get the views advertised on the listing. (We were seated in back row of the boat.) Underwhelming and disappointing. Water levels were low so maybe that was part of it. Experienced the tour in late August 2025.”

The only problem was the Meeting point. We all went to the green flag but no one came to collect us and we had to find the bus on our own. Otherwise, it was a very good tour.”

The four of us went and were able to sit together and had great views and terrific conversation with the boat operator who gave lots of information about the fjord and the two main falls and the farm in the fjord. Amazing up close views and the guide was patient and did not rush us.”

“We saw the beginning of the troll wall but it was closed. The company did let us know ahead of time. I liked a waterfall that we saw which was nice. The guide was sweet but not from Norway. We did not learn very much which was unfortunate.”

I booked through GYG in advance, but there was no availability for the rest of my party, but luckily there were tickets available for them to book on the day direct (same price as GYG).”

“My wife's highlight of the trip! We had done a via feratta in Peru, so we had a pretty good idea of what we were getting into on this activity. Our expectations were surpassed entirely by Stian (the guide), the equipment, and the views. While it was tough (you have to be fit to do this comfortably), safety was never a concern. The cables, brackets, and anchors were in good shape, and I never felt any flex or give in them. My wife (and the pictures verify this) reports the views were amazing. We even managed to hike to Storsaeterfossen Waterfall and left the bikes at the start of the hike and when we returned after the hike we continued our journey back to Geiranger village. Stop when ever you want for plenty of photo opportunities. Excellent time biking down the steep road. Only gripe I would have is the price per person what I paid. But amazing time we had with an amazing day of weather. Love Geiranger.”
